Assembled offers a limited range of large, legacy integrations which are becoming less popular.
Surfboard offers 10+ modern ticketing and telephony integrations, allowing teams to seamlessly forecast and create demand-led schedules. Additional support for many HRIS systems, Slack and Google Calendar streamlines workflows and offers more transparency over how and where your team spend their time.
Assembled relies on agent status or tickets viewed which offers little granularity and is prone to gaming.
Surfboard uses a unique approach to adherence by tracking productive activity. Surfboard is able to track concurrent activity, e.g. multiple chats at once. Assembled cannot visualise this data due to its reliance on status for the majority of connections.
Assembled scheduling is manual and offers limited event optimisation for individual tasks.
Surfboard intraday schedules are dynamically generated by combining the changing capacity of the team, with forecasted requirements and business priorities or rules. Surfboard fairly and intelligently distributes tasks amongst agents, accounting for skills, languages and historical scheduling time.
